This strategic role is responsible for the sale of our client’s advertising, measurement and research solutions, helping agencies deliver the most relevant messages across all screens, in real time or anytime, while measuring what matters most, business outcomes. Candidates must be highly motivated, passionate about problem solving, professionally mature, possess outstanding communication skills, have demonstrated knowledge of online advertising and be willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing environment. As part of a small, but fast growing business, there will be opportunities to influence the direction of the product roadmap and sales & marketing organisation.
Sell advertising solutions (ad synchronization, retargeting and social retargeting across Desktop, Mobile and Tablet, and data) to leading advertising agencies and agency holding companies
Sell suite of planning, analytics, measurement and attribution products and services.
Prospect, qualify, close and scale revenue-generating relationships with agencies
Persuasively communicate offerings and unique value-proposition to agencies via email, phone and in-person presentations and discussion.
Collaborate with Account Management to create proposals
Work with cross-functional teams internally to ensure campaign success and growth of partnerships.
Develop and maintain relationships at all personnel levels within agencies, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the account’s organisation, needs and revenue potential
Maintain leadership relationships across assigned advertising agencies
Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas against assigned agencies
Participate in industry events, ultimately becoming a regional knowledge leader on cross-platform ad synchronization and retargeting.
Demonstrated ability to perform against quota and excel in a highly competitive market
Proven sales success with a minimum of 5+ years total professional experience with at least 3 years in advertising, digital media, mobile, programmatic, internet technologys
Experience planning or selling TV a plus.
Demonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical approach with focus on building client partnerships
Customer-focused leadership with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills
Knowledge of the TV/online/mobile advertising industry and data a plus
Willingness to entertain clients during evenings and occasionally weekends
Strong references with partners, customers and colleagues
Existing, current relationships with media buying decision makers favoured
Willingness to travel to outside markets
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
