ROLE: UK New Business Development Manager

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 2+ years

Due to exceptional growth in the last 12 months, our client is looking to recruit exceptional sales people to help further grow their client roster. The successful candidate will be joining an exciting, fast moving industry leader, prepared to offer long-term career satisfaction and development and an excellent renumeration package.

Our client is one of the UK’s fastest growing software platforms responsible for connecting online retailers with their consumers wherever they are in the world and the agility to position their products across over multiple online marketing channels.

THE ROLE
As a New Business Manager, you will excel at new business generation. You will support and enhance the sales strategy led by your line manager. Hard working, determined, passionate, with an eye for detail are a must, as is a demonstrable track record of new business sales success. An excellent contact list with either online retailers and advertising agencies is highly desired.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience of selling digital media or SaaS solutions to online retailers
Demonstrable track record of selling successfully to online retailers and ad agencies
Excellent online retailer contacts
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and ability to generate new business and form long-term relationships
Knowledge of the digital marketing channels and how they work a plus.
Ideally structured sales training such as DIPADA/AIDA/OSIOPAF or similar
Degree level educated preferred but not essential
Good knowledge and experience of using Office 365

RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish senior level/decision maker relationships with relevant direct retail/agency contacts
Sourcing/calling new leads, arranging meetings and closing deals
Hitting pre-determined KPI targets
Effective time management and communication that allows for maximum revenue generation
Ensure detailed, SMART objective led new business strategies are written and implemented
Identify and prioritise key opportunities from your business patch – change when necessary
Keep strategic aims and goals at the forefront of your actions when planning

RENUMERATION

Basic salary up to £50k dependent on experience. OTE £80k+ Commission is uncapped
