Overview & Purpose of the Role
Our client’s websites and apps have a global audience of millions of unique users. They are seeking a highly motivated individual unafraid to show initiative and challenge the norm. The Programmatic Sales Manager will maximise revenue from programmatic premium channels across EMEA. This role is commercial and operational, proactive and reactive. It will encompass setting up, troubleshooting and optimising PMP and programmatic guaranteed deals, uncovering additional revenue potential in these deals as well as supporting the Direct Sales team in client meetings and pitches.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Manage key relationships with Trading Desks, DSPs, Exchanges and our partners’ SSPs
Monitor/ report on buyer spending and suggest optimisations
Identify new opportunities to increase yield and deal flow
Work closely with the Direct sales team to further their knowledge and improve their adoption of Programmatic
Negotiate deals with buyers to help further monetise inventory
Monitor/ respond to advertiser creatives which jeopardise brand integrity; identify sources of unwanted ads
Keep current with changes in the industry. Identify new innovations which can be used to increase overall revenue
Provide monthly reporting on revenues and trends related to automated trading and analyse data to make accurate changes to the SSP
Strategically and technically implement private marketplaces across display properties
Solid use and understanding of Appnexus, Yieldfire, Adx, Rubicon, Google Ad Exchange & other leading platforms

Desired Skills and Experience
Clear understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and changing demand channels that publishers are leveraging
Relationships with media agencies and trading desks
Experience in a fast-paced environment, with a genuine sense of urgency
Proven success working with SSPs/ DSPs and other Programmatic platforms
Proficiency with/Advanced knowledge of Excel (must understand pivot tables, v-lookups)

Strong AdOps experience

Experience in International markets would be preferable.
Comfortable working in a matrixed sales environment
