Our client is a global digital marketplace and SaaS that operates across a range of specialised verticals.  They continue to transform some of the last markets in the world not to have moved meaningfully online.  With teams in the US, Canada, the UK and most recently, Germany, their mission is to lead this move and, through tech innovation and digital expertise, drive the transformation of their exciting and specialised sector.
The role of International Sales Manager sits within their Arts and Antiques division; and is responsible for print and digital sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The International Sales Executive will expand and increase the revenue from International advertising.
To meet and exceed targets for the International advertising section of their Trade Gazette
Selling on, developing and executing new advertising ideas for features and opportunities across the year.
To achieve and exceed targets for digital marketing
Key client account management for media sales relationship
Maintain excellent relationships with the key positions in France and Germany
Development of new business
Plan, prepare, & execute effective business visits to designated sales territories in Europe.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadline
To assist and advise clients with the technical requirements and digital marketing.
Accurate compilation of calendars for the International section, insuring timely distribution of these to the editorial team.


KEY SKILLS
Ability to speak and write fluently and idiomatically in English plus fluency in French.

Enthusiastic, creative and committed sales-person with ideally with 2+ years digital media sales experience.
Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
IT literate. Includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet and E-mail.
Face to face experience with meeting clients.
Previous sales experience and a knowledge of publishing is desirable.
The enthusiasm and commitment to work within a sales environment.
Excellent, organisational and management skills
The ability to work unsupervised.
Reliability and flexibility.

This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and Commercial Director.
Close working relationships with production, marketing, sales support and online and admin teams.

Clients worldwide, but predominantly France and the US
