The role…

As a Paid Social Director, you will be the key support resource for the social team in managing paid promotional efforts through social media. You will work with respective teams to develop strategy for paid social promotion and will be responsible for setting up, optimizing and reporting on social campaigns. In addition you will need to manage the existing Paid Social Executive and look to build the team out over the coming months and years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with internal brand partners to influence clients’ social media goals and client deliverables. Keeping internal team apprised of status on all campaigns by issuing timely and accurate documentation and correspondence, in the form of progress reports and ongoing feedback and evaluation of campaign performance and activity
  • Researching target audience interests and activities on social media to develop targeting strategy
  • Develops the campaign structure and sets-up campaigns within social platforms
  • Compiles data across several social media platforms and create weekly/monthly reports, including key metrics and analysis for insights, optimisations and future strategy development
  • Identifies and implement optimizations
  • Stays abreast of changes and new opportunities in the social media space and proactively communicate key updates to the larger team, training, and mentoring associates on agency best practices
  • Acts as the day-to-day point of contact for the assigned clients for paid social campaign management
  • In-person interaction and presentations with team members
  • Manages client facing deliverables and communications specs, program details and deadlines
  • Participating in client status calls and financial meetings with client and provides timely follow-up.
