Head of Commercial and Partnership Operations

My client is a globally recognized online community portal and affiliate marketing platform that connects millions of users with relevant products and services through strategic partnerships. Their mission is to provide valuable experiences for both their users and partners, driving revenue growth and fostering strong relationships within their network.

The Head of Operations role

As the business continues to scale up and enter the next phase of their growth plans, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead the Partnerships Operations team responsible for managing day-to-day partner operations and optimizing processes across various areas..These include partner promotions, code management, billing, media campaigns, network CPA audits, support tooling, and competitor analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational B2B partner management, demonstrated leadership experience, and a proven track record in change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for executing partner promotional activities, managing codes, handling billing and credit notes, overseeing media campaigns, conducting network CPA change audits, optimizing support tooling, and performing competitor analysis.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on partner briefs and execute campaigns effectively, meeting partner satisfaction and revenue growth targets.

  • Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and operational excellence across all partnership management functions.

  • Implement change strategies and best practices to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and reduce turnaround times for partner-related tasks.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, understanding their business needs, and driving initiatives to support their success on our platform.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.

  • Oversee budget allocation for partner operations and ensure cost-effective strategies are implemented to maximize ROI.

  • Provide regular performance reports, metrics analysis, and actionable insights to senior management to drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in operational B2B partner management, preferably in the online marketing or affiliate marketing industry.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Demonstrated track record in change management, process optimization, and driving operational efficiencies.

  • Excellent analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience in budget management, forecasting, and financial analysis related to partner operations.

  • Sound knowledge and experience of using Salesforce

  • Knowledge of affiliate marketing platforms, CRM systems, and project management tools is a plus.
