About the Role
Our client, a globally respected top 4 consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Associate Director to lead and develop a new team focused on Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA) in Dubai. This strategic role comes as a response to the increasing market demands in 2025 and beyond. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a team of up to 6 professionals, with a clear pathway to becoming a Partner within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead within a high-performing SPA team to meet market demands and company goals.
- Strategic Development: Design and implement strategies to establish and expand the SPA service line within the firm.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and solutions on SPA-related matters.
- Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and provide insights into SPA practices and opportunities.
Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members to foster growth and professional development.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure integrated service delivery and client satisfaction.
Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts by preparing client pitches, assisting with proposal writing, and identifying opportunities for expanding the firm's service offerings.
Qualifications
- Experience: Significant experience in Sale and Purchase Agreements within established markets including (but not limited to) the UK, ME, US, EU, or Asia.
- Financial Expertise: Proven track record in Transaction Services.
- Dispute Resolution: Experience in M&A purchase price disputes/negotiations.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team, with a focus on achieving strategic objectives.
Education
Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
Desirable Experience
- International Exposure: SPA experience in major global markets, bringing a diverse and international perspective to the role.
- Big 4 Experience: Senior Managers from Big 4 firms with experience in SPA.
