Salary: Competitive based on experienceOur client, a respected boutique advisory firm headquartered in France with German offices in Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, and Cologne, is looking to hire an Operational Restructuring Director to lead complex restructuring projects and drive strategic transformations for their clients. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing firm at the forefront of restructuring and turnaround services in Europe.Key Responsibilities:- Lead Restructuring Projects: Take ownership of complex operational restructuring projects from start to finish, overseeing the entire process from inception through to successful execution.
- C-Level Engagement: Directly engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders, offering high-level strategic advice and providing execution support to drive impactful change.
- Turnaround Strategy Development: Develop and implement turnaround strategies that produce measurable improvements in operational efficiency for clients.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, lenders, investors, and other partners to support business growth and successful restructuring outcomes.
- Business Development: Actively participate in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, driving the growth of the practice, and expanding the firm’s market presence in Germany and beyond.
Key Requirements:- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in restructuring, turnaround, or financial advisory services.
- Expertise: Strong expertise in business planning, negotiation, and strategic execution for distressed companies or businesses undergoing change.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing large teams, with a track record of delivering impactful results in complex restructuring projects.
- Languages: Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken) is essential to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
- Location Flexibility: Willingness to relocate or reside in Germany for access to either of their office locations (Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg or Cologne) for hybrid working.
